MATERIAL MATTERS. ABOUT THE FABRICS WE USE

BALLISTIC NYLON

BALLISTIC NYLON, which is mainly used in the Made in USA collection, is one of our most distinctive features and made with a unique double basket weave. This double basket weave is self-healing (we have verified this, of course) and will not falter even when pierced with an ice pick. At the same time, sewing ballistic nylon requires a high level of strength, and every aspect of its construction is the result of exceptional craftsmanship. This relentless pursuit of quality is what makes Briefing so durable.

FULL DULL CORDURA RIPSTOP NYLON

FULL DULL CORDURA RIPSTOP NYLON, which is mainly used in the MODULEWEAR collection, is a fabric woven with 140 denier x 240 denier full-dull Cordura yarn. Fulldull is a mixture of titanium dioxide when the yarn is produced, which gives it a matte texture that is thin but not transparent. The ripstop nylon is woven in a grid pattern to increase the strength of the fabric and provide excellent durability.
