MATERIAL
1050 denier ballistic nylon is woven with a special double basket wave that allows the fibers to recover even if a small hole is made with an ice pick, etc. It is a heavy material that is highly resistant to abrasion and is often used for portable weapons and gun cases. The red line on the top of the webbing tape serves as visibility and reinforcement when attaching the slide clip.
AGING
The iconic red labels and stitching of the RED LINE series will fade, and the paint on the metal parts such as the snap buttons and eyelets will peel off, giving them a different look than when they were new. While ballistic nylon has excellent strength, the more you use it, the more the fabric will develop its own character, just like denim or heavy-ounce canvas.
